King Kong in Oxbridge

I heard people in ISC worrying about something in Oxbridge. I had known the horror of the gargoyles there and having learnt their secrets, I rushed to hopefully bring aid to those affected. I was horrified! This monster I saw in the great square was no gargoyle. A much mightier monster!

The air filled with the buzz of planes. All trying to defeat the monster and return him to his own unnatural home. Those plucky pilots were caste to the ground including my dear friend, Elanor Andearton.
When it seemed things could be no worse, we were overwhelmed by the appearance of a giant Santa Clause. No reasoned thought can be made, no sensible sentence uttered when confronted by the sight of these two enormous avatars.

To my enormous fright, the beast approached.....

He scooped me up in his enormous paw.
And to my enormous astonishment, he took me to the roses that I might smell their pixel perfume.
Titan sized Santa turned from terrifying to curious, peeping over Kong's shoulder as Kong gently placed me back onto the ground.

My shock at the treatment left me out of breath, but otherwise unscathed after the gentle care of the giants of Oxbridge

Making Dresses

I went for a wander the other day and ended up in Nix Sands' shop and I am just so impressed with the tiny things he is making!

Nix is making things for Loco Poco tinies. Very detailed, lovely things.
My new resolution is to give the detail a bit more attention.

Today I fiddled on a dress I began sometime in the last couple of days t'il it was done. I was making Flora Moppet. Pretty floral with stripes and lace. She even has fancy drawers under her full length skirt

I got her into vendors and onto SLexchange and then considered how many designers in SL create a range on the same style. So I went and played in paint.net, created a texture in pinks and browns which are on of my current favourite colour combos and tadah! Coco Moppet is born! All original textures. And a lot of fun to make and wear!

Building Finished

The job at Babbage is done.
I installed the front door, which meant I had to make a texture for the fan light.
The installed a back door and a few more wall panels. To match the existing house, I had to get Serafina to rez me a spare house for parts :)

A back door was very important.. it was just wrong that until then Serafina couldn't enjoy her view from inside the house. While installing the doors, Nix sands sent me a tartan Caledon skin....

Tadah... me in Caledon skin and standing next to the TP I just installed!

And while trying it on, I accidentally hit the doors that hadn't been linked.
So complete with tartan skin, I could be seen searching the sim far and wide trying to find the doors :)
They were eventually found however and the scripts and all fixed to have them opening right last time I saw them.....

It was fun.

I think it was well received... and now I have nothing to do so I am fishing. Fishing is not as interesting to me as some other activities.. so I am blogging too!
But really .. I spent so many late night building this i am too tired to even proof read this blog... tomorrow and tomorrow....
